DESCRIPTION:
France, architectural cartel wall clock, 8 days, time and bell strike, spring driven movement in an elaborately cast gilded brass case depicting a castle, griffins and knights in armor with brass dial with enamel chapter ring
CONDITION:
some gilding remains on the case, which is stamped on the rear, and one tiny floral element and the tip of the spire are broken off. The rear door hinge has been repaired. The movement is unsigned and ticks and strikes, but has not been fully tested.
